Joe Grabowski visited Fairmont Hot Springs on September 20 as a possible location. The facility can accommodate our needs for a convention of similar size and format to the past three spring conventions. There is a large room suitable for the vendor trade show with enough space for at least 30 booths. Two education break out rooms are available that will seat approximately 30 each. Available dates are May 23 to 25. All other times are booked. Fairmont will provide pricing.

The membership discussed and agreed upon the following tentative schedule for this convention:

• Wed., May 23, morning: education sessions
• Wed., May 23, afternoon: golf
• Wed., May 23, dinner on your own
• Thur., May 24, morning: education sessions
• Thur., May 24, lunch time: vendor trade show (3 hours total)
• Thur., May 24, afternoon: education sessions, possibly key note address
• Thur., May 24, evening: social in the vendor room
• Fri., May 25, morning: visit Barrett Hospital in Dillon

MSHE will continue to work with ASHRAE as a partner for this event. Together we will ask vendors to sponsor portions of the event. Convention fees will be adjusted so that pricing will be maintained as in years past up to two weeks prior to the event. Proposed pricing structure is as follows:

• Early registration will be $75. This will increase to $100 two weeks before the event.
• Early registration for vendor booths will be $350. This will increase to $500 two weeks before the event.
